The Annual Opening Day Surf Casting Seminar is from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Ship Bottom Firehall.
Want to learn about the basics of surf fishing? Have a question about a specific topic or technique? Attend this seminar and learn the basics of surf fishing. The experienced anglers from Team Mullet aka Surf City Anglers will be on hand to answer questions about the finer points of surf fishing. Don't miss out! This is a great time to learn valuable surf fishing knowledge and network to meet new fishing friends.
Meet at 10 am for refreshments and door prizes at the Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Company No.1 Station on 21st St. and Central Ave as members of Team Mullet fishing club share their knowledge. Topics discussed will be but not limited to surf fishing equipment/tackle, casting, bait, driving a 4x4 vehicle on the beach and much more. Weather permitting, hands-on instruction will follow on a nearby beach. The exact location will be provided at the Firehall Session. Feel free to bring a folding chair for your comfort on the beach. There’s a prize drawing at the end of the Fire House segment of the seminar. Must be present to win.
